The Discount Configuration Management is where you set up and manage different customer discounts.This feature is used to configure special discounts for specific groups (like PWD or Seniors), where you can set the percentage, decide if it’s tax-free, and add descriptions or customer categories.
Top Section #
- Config Status: Enabled → This means the discount settings are active and in use.
Discount List #
- Discount Name
- Example: PWD (Persons With Disability) and Senior (Senior Citizen).
- These are the labels for the discounts.
- Discount Rate
- Both PWD and Senior discounts are set at 10%.
- This is the percentage of discount applied to purchases.
- Tax Free
- If turned ON, it would mean the discount also exempts the customer from paying taxes.
- Customer Type
- Field where you can specify which group of customers the discount applies to
- Description
- Extra notes or labels about the discount.
