The Receive Devices section is where you manage the physical hardware used for accepting payments in your store, such as card readers and other POS peripherals. This module allows you to link specific payment channels to these devices, ensuring a smooth and accurate transaction process.

Navigating to Receive Devices #

To access and manage your receive devices, follow these steps:

1. Navigate to the Retails tab.
2. Under the Basic Data section, click on Receive Devices.
3. The main Receive Device List will appear. From here, you can see a list of your connected devices. You can right-click anywhere on the screen to view management options, such as Add Device and Refresh.

Adding a New Device #

When you want to set up a new payment device, you will use the Add Device function. This process links the physical device to a specific payment channel in your system.

1. Right-click on the main Receive Device List and select Add Device.
2. A new pop-up window will appear titled “Add Device.”
3. Fill in the required information:
   • Name: A descriptive name for the device (e.g., “Main Counter Card Reader,” “Cashier 1 POS Terminal”).
   • POS: Select the specific POS terminal this device is linked to.
   • Receive Channel: Choose the payment channel that this device will process (e.g., “Stripe Terminal,” “GCash,” or “Visa”). This links the hardware to the payment method you configured in the Receive Channels section.
   • Device Ref Id: Enter the unique reference ID for the physical device. This ID is crucial for the system to identify and communicate with the correct hardware.
   • Remarks: Add any notes for future reference (e.g., location of the device, date of installation).
4. Once all the information is entered, click Confirm to save the new device configuration.

After adding the device, it will appear in your Receive Device List, ready for use. You can always use the Refresh option to update the list and ensure all newly added devices are displayed.
