Organize and Manage Your Product Structure #

The Product Categories section under the Basic Data tab in Product Info allows users to effectively manage how products are grouped and displayed on the site. With this tool, you can create, edit, or rearrange categories to better reflect your product organization and improve customer navigation.

Key Features of Product Categories #

• Add new categories with detailed naming and description fields
• Edit, move, or delete existing categories easily
• Toggle visibility using “Enabled,” “Sale Disabled,” or “On Website” options
• Categorize products hierarchically using the Parent Category function

To Navigate / STEPS for Product Categories #

1. Navigate to the Basic Data tab under Product Info
   
2. Click on Product Categories
   
3. The list of existing product categories will appear
4. Right-click on a category to access options like:
   • Add
   • Edit
   • Move Up
   • Move Down
   • Delete

Details Under the Tab of Product Categories #

• Contain Disable – a toggle button for enabling/disabling grouped content
• Category Name

• Sale Disabled

• Description
  

When Adding or Editing a Category #

If you want to add an entirely new category, right click on the empty space as shown on the image below. 

If you wish to add a sub-category for an existing Category, right click on the Category and Add Category

You will need to fill in the following details:

• Parent Category (e.g., Electronic)
• Profit Rate (%)
• Category Name (Zh)
  
• Category Name (En)
  
• Category Name (Es)
  
• IDX
  
• Is Accessory (toggle)
• On Website (toggle)
• Sale Disabled (toggle)
• Enabled (toggle)
• Description (Zh)
