Sale Inventory is an essential tool under the Basic Data tab that helps businesses manage their inventory directly linked to sales. This feature provides a complete overview of product requirements, order locks, expected arrivals, recent arrivals, product catalog exports, label printing, and transaction queries. By leveraging Sale Inventory, you can streamline inventory management and optimize sales workflows.

With a range of useful options for tracking product availability and managing orders, this tool ensures smooth sales operations, with up-to-date information on stock status, expected shipments, and product transactions.

Key Features of Sale Inventory #

  • Add Product Requirement:
    Manage product requirements with a simple interface. Track whether products have been submitted, confirmed, or are awaiting approval.
  • View Order Lock Details:
    Review inventory details like order lock, frozen quantity, uncommitted quantity, and locked inventory for outbound and transfer orders.
  • View Expected Arrivals Details:
    Check the status of incoming shipments, including expected quantities and expected dates of arrival.
  • View Recent Arrival Details:
    Monitor recent arrivals, including quantities received and the arrival dates of products.
  • Export Product Catalog:
    Export the product catalog to an Excel file. This allows you to filter data by stock availability, price type, and category, and helps streamline inventory planning.
  • Print Labels:
    Quickly print barcode labels for products in various formats, including price types and descriptions.
  • Transaction Query:
    Query transaction records based on vendor, customer, date range, and action type. Track changes in inventory levels, including locks and uncommitted quantities.

To Navigate / STEPS for Sale Inventory #

  1. Go to the Basic Data tab.
  2. Under Product Info, click on Sale Inventory.
  3. The Sale Inventory details will appear on the screen.
  4. Choose a product and right-click on it to see the available options:
    • Add Product Requirement
    • View Order Lock Details
    • View Expected Arrivals Details
    • View Recent Arrival Details
    • Export Product Catalog
    • Print Label
    • Transaction Query

Add Product Requirement Details #

In the Product Requirement Management section, you can view product requests categorized by their status (Submitted, Confirmed), expected dates, and quantity information.

  • Status: Submitted or Confirmed
  • Quantity & Sale Rep: Product quantity needed and assigned sales representative
  • Expected Date: When the product is expected to be available

View Order Lock Details #

Under this section, you can track order locks related to various product categories and see:

  • Order Lock Status: Whether orders are confirmed, preparing, or in transit
  • Lock Quantities: View locked and uncommitted inventory quantities
  • Outbound & Transfer Locks: Check outbound orders or transfer order locks

View Expected Arrivals Details #

Here, you can track the status of products that are expected to arrive soon, including:

  • Transport Info: Details about shipping, such as transport order number and expected quantity
  • Expected Lock Quantities: Quantities reserved or locked for specific products
  • Expected Date: Date the product is expected to arrive

View Recent Arrival Details #

Monitor product arrivals that have already taken place, including:

  • Arrival Qty & Received Qty: Number of products that arrived and were successfully received
  • Arrival Date: Date when the products were received into the warehouse

Export Product Catalog #

Export the product catalog with customized filters to analyze stock availability, prices, and other details:

  • Stock Availability: Available stock, incoming stock, and open PO
  • Price Type: Show prices based on MSRP or other pricing types
  • Customer Info: Export data filtered by customer, category, and product specifics

Print Labels #

This feature allows you to generate barcode labels for products, with customizable options such as:

  • Item Name
  • Price Type
  • Language
  • Format

Transaction Query Details #

Perform a transaction query based on several parameters like:

  • Vendor/Customer
  • Date Range
  • Action Type (e.g., Locking, Receiving, Shipment)
  • Inventory Changes: See locked and uncommitted quantities, balance changes, and sale note details
